| Course Description : | The course introduces the concepts of orthodontics. It emphasizes the craniofacial development & facial growth. Development of normal occlusion is explored as well as the etiology & classification of malocclusion. Special attention is paid to biomechanical principles and tissues reactions. Orthodontic assessment, diagnostic aids, treatment planning and interception. Treatment of some types of malocclusion is presented.
